The obsession with money

It seems to me that everyone is obsessed with money.  In this era that is the only thing that is important to a lot of people and they will do anything to earn money, no matter how they “earn” it.

Every day you hear about people like Madoff and other crooks that rip people off with scams, or CEO’s that give themselves and their friends millions of dollars for doing a shitty job, while their workers won’t get nothing and see their life savings disappear.

The incentive to create something, invent something, that would be good for all people is totally gone. If you can’t make a buck on something, then it’s not worth it. Do you think Edison wanted to make millions when he invented the lamps? Now we would still be in the dark.

There is no morale anymore anywhere in the society. More crimes, more crooks from the street people all the way to the top and I don’t see anything that would change this behaviour. except a revolution where people take the power and remove dishonest people from every position with some type of power.

A new website online now provides a method for you to purchase almost 74,000 genealogy books, whether it be a best seller, or a rare manuscript. When purchasing, part of your purchase price will go towards supporting over 100 free genealogy websites online!

Canadian Genealogy has posted the complete 1851 Canadian Directory. A small monumental feat, this directory consists of over 38,000 names of the professional and business men of every description, in all the cities, towns, and principal villages of Canada, together with a complete post office directory of the province to November, 1851.
